We run obedience and Agility classes for the family dog, all dogs are welcome young or old. The method of training we use is the clicker.  

We are a small club that want people to feel welcome and enjoy our class – we cater for all levels of training, from puppy class to beginners and advanced. Our class sizes are small, with a maximum of 8 dogs in each class with Rena (myself)

Agility classes are held near the King Fisher on the Quay, Mytchett, Camberley, Surrey.

We are vet recommended and also offer the Kennel Club Good Citizens dog scheme across all levels; Puppy, Bronze, Silver and Gold in our obedience classes.

Why Clicker Training.

Clicker training breaks down behaviours into small steps, in a way that your dog will have a good understanding of what you are asking him to do and learn.

A clicker is a mechanical device that makes a short, distinct “click” sound, which tells the dog exactly when they’re doing the right thing.

This clear form of communication combined with positive reinforcement, (food reward or toy.) is a very effective way that dogs learn quickly from.

The click is easy to hear, words are not. As we are talking all the time its hard for a dog to hear.
While the click is consistent, Words vary from moment to moments and person to person, but the click never changes. The timing of the click is easy to recognize.

Clicker training teaches your dog to think through what they are doing and to keep trying because they really enjoy this form of training.
